Exhibition of Natalia Milashevich "The image of a gentle ..."

From May 15 to June 15, 2015, a personal exhibition of Natalia Milashevich “The Image of a Tender…” will be presented at the Mokhovaya-18 Gallery of Modern Art.

The author is an established master, a participant in numerous exhibitions, a laureate of the competition of the American Association of Portrait-Artists (ASOPA), a bright professional painter whose work has consistently continued and developed Russian realistic painting, creating an incredibly bright, beautiful world on his canvases. The golden edge of the work of Natalia Milashevich is a children’s portrait. In her works, the influence of the great Russian painters Valentin Serov and Zinaida Serebryakova, who created a series of magnificent children’s images, is noticeable. Natalia Milashevich was born in Leninabad (now the city of Khujand, Tajikistan), she graduated from the Art College named after M.R. Olimova (Dushanbe, Tajikistan), then the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin, faculty of painting workshop of V.V. Sokolov. Member of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg.

On the canvases before us appears that almost lost world of the purity of childhood. Modern children are depicted in the conventional timeless world of the Russian landscape. Favorite model of the artist is the daughter and her friends, the world of children close to the author of the paintings. Carefully written work, detailed detailing maintains realism and does not interfere with the integrity of the perception of the image. The artist deliberately avoids modern clothes, choosing chaste Russian sarafans, but this staging supports the image of the fragile, touching in its insecurity world of childhood.

The painter solves the main problem of the modern world - the search for national identity with incredible ease, sometimes showing the sources and foundations of our soul that are not obvious at times. The artist can be safely attributed to the Symbolists - in terms of creativity - the landscape is absolutely Russian, which is a symbol in its essence, as well as wreaths of wild flowers on the heads of girls and Russian sundresses. The same can be attributed to portraits in oriental style. The image of childhood in painting is the motive of spring, the theme of the mystical revival of life.

The exposition will feature Natalia Milashevich’s still lifes - complex, with construction from one subject, in Russian and Eastern style. In still lifes, various textures of fabrics, carpets, porcelain, bronze jugs and other objects are masterfully made. They are characterized by coloristic integrity, soft and warm colors - the world of things is realistic, it is warm, reliable and stable.

The artist continues his creative search, develops. The exposition allows you to see a retrospective of the work of the talented painter Natalya Milashevich.
