Exhibition "Contemporary Print. New Arrivals to the School of Watercolor Collection"

A printmaking is a work of graphic art, which is an engraving or other print on paper from a printing form. For flat printing - lithography with all its varieties and monotype. For intaglio printing - etching, engraving, mezzo-tinto, dotted line, dry needle, aquatint, reserve, lavis, soft varnish, pencil style. Screen printing - silk screen printing.

The decoration of the exhibition is the etchings of Elena Aleksandrovna Mironova from the series Sukhanovo Estate near Moscow. This is an artist who subtly feels the beauty of the world and seeks to convey it to the viewer as accurately as possible. She enthusiastically writes various states of nature, parks of noble estates and village courtyards.

The attention of visitors will be attracted by the works of the young artist Anna Yuryevna Polinsky. The extraordinary author’s fantasy inherent in the artist found its bright embodiment in a series of etchings.

Artist Sergey Georgievich Chernyshev is a talented and original master of contemporary Russian art. A good draftsman, delicate colorist and an outstanding engraver. In easel graphics, he uses the technique of black and white and color engraving on wood and linoleum, the technique of incisor engraving on copper, etching.
