On April 25, in the Nagornaya gallery of the Exhibition Halls of Moscow Association, a personal exhibition of Lyubov Belykh opens as part of the World of Childhood Ministry of Agriculture project.
Creativity Love Belykh is filled with children’s laughter, the smell of river water, warm sand underfoot, delicate flowers and wet cat noses. This takes the viewer to the happiest moments of life, because these are all the sounds and smells from childhood - then they were felt and remembered for the first time.
The exposition is dedicated to childhood as a special condition, which largely determines the path of an adult. The "secret room of childhood" is a place where the subconscious mind stores what makes a person himself. Secrets and dreams, memories and fears are kept here. The soul lives in this room.
The exhibition features portraits, landscapes and genre paintings. They are united by the theme of childhood - the world of first impressions, feelings and experiences, filled with a special concentration of moral experiences, when the fragility, insecurity of the external image is fused with the purity of the spiritual world, striving for the ideal.
“I tried to capture the happy moments of life, in the hope that they would disturb the hearts of the audience, maybe take them away to my childhood for a moment and bring joy…” (Love of Belykh).
The curators of the project are Anastasia Polumordvinova, curator of the Nagornaya gallery, Olga Tikhonova, member of the Ministry of Agriculture, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
