The All-Russian Decade of Graduates of Creative Universities is a cultural and educational project implemented by the Association of Art and Culture Educational Institutions and the ANO "Novy Vek" (New Century) with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Rosconcert, and the Russian Academy of Arts. The project’s primary goal is to support higher art education in Russia and introduce a wider audience to the new generation of creative youth — promising professionals shaping the future of Russian culture.
This year marks the fifth year of the project, with the program featuring approximately three dozen events. Over the course of several weeks, graduates from Russia’s creative universities showcase the achievements of Russian arts education, their talent, and professionalism, presenting works across various thematic areas: theater, choreography, music, cinema, and fine arts.
One of the project’s stages was an exhibition of graduation works by graduates of the country’s art schools — the S.A. Gerasimov All-Russian University of Cinematography, the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Academic Institute, and the Sergei Andriaka Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts. The academic halls showcase over 170 works, including large-scale oil and watercolor paintings, book and print illustrations, Roman and Florentine mosaics, stained glass, costume reconstructions, and sketches of artistic designs for films, ballets, and operas.
