Exhibition of the artist Justina Komissarova "7 sins + 1"

From October 12 to November 9, the exhibition of the artist Justina Komissarova “7 Sins + 1” will be held in the Artmuz creative cluster!

In a series of these works, the artist used standard mannequin torsos.

Nowadays, a mannequin is a symbol of the fashion industry, glamor, and the consumption system. In her works of art, Justina wanted to connect the topic of vices with our day, focusing on the human value system in the 21st century. Creating these paintings, the artist boldly experimented with volumes, textures and modern materials.

Anger

According to the author himself, the topic of vices was relevant as 1000 years ago, and today it has not lost its significance. She is important and philosophical. It is difficult to resist sins, because in our misconduct echoes of animal instincts are felt, which to this day live in the human mind. To study yourself, your inner self, not succumbing to the influence of external events and people, requires a lot of conscious work on yourself.

Pride

These 7 vices / mortal sins / were isolated from all the others, not because they are the most serious, but because they inevitably entail other sins. Every person in the world makes a difficult choice: to glorify their animal instincts or to realize and overcome them. The list of sins is opposed by the list of virtues. Pride - humility; greed - generosity; envy is love; anger is kindness; voluptuousness - self-control; gluttony - moderation and temperance, and laziness - zeal.

Envy

7 deadly sins are the rules of a normal and healthy life. Instructions on how not to live, so as not to make the already difficult life of a person even more complex, unhappy and unhealthy.
