On a warm, sunny day after rain, a rainbow appears in the sky…

Each time, being a witness to this miracle, you brighten your soul and become an instant child. In childhood, it seemed that if you run faster, you will catch up with the rainbow until it disappears, and you will certainly touch it. It seems to the young artist Valeria Belova that she succeeded and was reflected in her works by a special, admired vision of nature.

Painting, whether it is a landscape or a portrait, is always a reflection of the views on life and our place in it from the point of view of a particular artist. And the point of view of Valeria raises us above the ordinary, allows us to “touch the rainbow,” gives rise to a small miracle.

The landscape series of paintings, made in oil, is filled with juicy energy. Their bright palette and expressive color combinations touch the souls of a variety of spectators. Paintings made using the pastel technique are more lyrical. Penetrated by light, they radiate positiveness and cheer up.

Of particular note is the portrait series. A deep understanding of the personality of the person depicted allows Valeria to truly and enthusiastically transfer this feeling to the canvas. As a result, the created portraits are expressive, reflect the individuality of a person and also carry a charge of positive energy.
