Anniversary exhibition of ROBERT KHANIFOVICH GAYSIN

The artist was born on December 4, 1957 in the village of Karkali, Leninogorsk district of Tatarstan. From grade 5, he studied at the secondary special music school at the Kazan State Conservatory in the wind class (clarinet). He graduated from the Kazan Art College named after N.I. Feshin, art and graphic department of the Chuvash State Pedagogical Institute.

Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (2000) and Tatarstan (1997). He has been engaged in teaching activities for many years.

The works of Robert Gaysin were exhibited in Moscow, Istanbul, Ankara. He is a participant in international, national and republican exhibitions. In 1999, the artist was a member of the international creative laboratory "Turksoy-II" (Bursa, Turkey), in 2006 participated in the project "Wandering scrolls" Khabar ". His work is stored in the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan (and presented at the exhibition), as well as in many private and corporate collections in Russia and the world.

The roots of Robert Gaysin’s work come from rural soil. Living and working in the city, he never became an urbanist, remaining a singer of nature: flowers and trees, light and darkness, wind and silence, earthly and heavenly spheres. However, his land is devoid of materiality, it is drunk with music of colors, philosophy of lines, all that urban painter gives the painter. The work of Robert Gaysin is recognizable and original. The first sensation from his paintings is their amazing musicality. The complex line of lines, contours, silhouettes, combined with complex harmonies of color reveals the melodic basis of this painting, different in moods and emotions. This is not surprising, because it is the music that inspires the artist - classical and modern.

There are no specific plots in the artist’s paintings, and there are no fleeting moods. The world of Robert Gaysin is a world of memories, fantasies, impressions, thoughts, mythical representations of nature, therefore it is devoid of material flesh, texture, tangibility, it lives on with its animation and pagan representations. The free use of space, the division of the world into fragments, which make up the whole, the game of scale and angle creates a dynamic, living space.
