Anniversary exhibition of YURI FILIMONOV "LINE OF LIFE"

Yuri Filimonov is a professional photographer, member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, member of the Union of Photographers of Russia. Engaged in photography since 1969. Since 1974 - a member of the Tasma photo group. From 1979 to 2002, he worked at the Idel Press publishing house, regularly published in Russian and Tatarstan newspapers and magazines, and published photo calendars, postcards, photo books and photo albums. Repeatedly participated in photo exhibitions in Kazan, Moscow and other cities of Russia.

Yuri Filimonov often spends his free time in solo cycling trips around Russia. He regularly participates in sports expeditions, visits hard-to-reach regions of the country. The geography of his photographs is vast: Taimyr, Chukotka, Kamchatka, Transbaikalia, Northern Urals, Karelia and other protected areas. It was the shooting of panoramic landscapes that determined Filimonov’s creative credo as a photo artist.

At the exhibition "Life Line", combining works that are diverse in genres and themes, about 80 unique photographs will be presented, striking the beauty of nature and the people who conquered it.

The exhibition runs until September 4.
