Перевод странный, может какой-то подтекст был? У кого-нибудь есть ответ? Спасибо. Дословно : Строгальщики паркета…

The subtexts of the painting can be interpreted in several ways. Primarily, its a representation of working-class labor, the dignity and physicality of which are put on display. The scene could be seen as an homage to the unseen efforts that maintain and beautify opulent spaces, contrasting the raw, physical work with the implied elegance of the room. The dramatic lighting could symbolize the harsh realities of their lives or the intense focus required for their craft. Furthermore, the presence of the bottle might allude to the working mans simple indulgence or a critique of the conditions that necessitate such comfort. The act of stripping and preparing the floor could also be seen metaphorically, perhaps suggesting a process of renewal or uncovering something raw beneath a polished surface.
