The painting is very realistic; it depicts a scene with the sun.
Enjoyment
Respectful of women. Breasts are depicted, but tastefully. The poses are natural and realistic, with good lighting, mood, and atmosphere. Its politically correct. These images should be sold in boutiques and home decor stores. The artist is unremarkable. And the subject matter itself... questionable.
YES, ITS ME!
Now you dont have to worry so much; photo editing software exists, and there are plenty of themes for family albums, bathroom calendars, tablecloths, and refrigerator stickers that the artist can offer. This character should be represented as widely as possible in every store of the Everything for the Home chain.
Im almost at a loss for words trying to classify this; it seems like some kind of photo-artist.
Something about Semen and Pukhto is beyond childish; its better to appreciate this raw authenticity than all the modern art classics like Hirst.
Just dont present photo coloring as high art.
This artist sells their work on their website for prices ranging from 50 to a maximum of 1000 Russian rubles. For most of the pieces, the price is 250-300 Azerbaijani manats. All paintings are currently in stock, which somehow symbolizes...
The website seems to sell reproductions signed by the artist, not originals. Its clear that the person is drawing from photographs, but whats fundamentally different between that and drawing from life? The art is actually very well done, and the subjects are incredibly touching.
Its kind of like opening your mouth under a computer-generated plywood panel and singing opera live.
Thank you, Semen!
I agree.
Theres no Van Gogh here.
Its a messy watercolor... Its a shame because watercolors are naturally vibrant, but this one has a kind of mothball smell to it.
Its like using a pocket knife to carve a 3-meter sculpture out of oak wood...
Which painting would you choose for a hypothetical solo interplanetary flight – any of these or Picassos Portrait of Dora Maar?
You cannot comment Why?
