The Millennial Consciousness
Where are you running to?
The endless rush of work, smeared with the ointment of injustice – how do you perceive it (every inconvenience seems like an injustice; every situation is assessed without trying to understand its essence), tiresome family squabbles; and the early twilight in which longing for light arises, and you have to go to the store for groceries, and theres no money for a new computer for your son, and the television bombards consciousness with kernels of negative information and shoots shrapnel of foolishness, and insomnia, and having to get up at an ungodly hour because its work, work...
So where are you running to?
Perhaps you want to escape from the sum total of everything known as life into another state – a state over which shines the eternal solemn noon of justice and love?
The best – the most advanced – parts of the brain are always tuned to a light wave; the best – even if unknown, with little influence on life. The secret of justice is encoded in conscience. Without thinking about righteousness, without really knowing it, confusing it with holiness – subconsciously, each of us strives for the kingdom of justice and light.
The millennial nature of human consciousness is the foundation of the future.
What exactly is said in Revelation? And the sword coming out of the angels mouth is speech... The fabric of symbols does not unravel, and life remains life – base, ant-like – but the bright wave of millennialism comes alive in the brain, beckoning into a wondrous distance, calling for change, improvement.
Thats where we are running to – to a modernized, mysterious Kitezh – unconsciously shedding slices of everyday life; to where millennarianism calls us – the millennarianism of consciousness, even if not defined so terminologically, but encoded in a complex system of the brain...

The painting depicts Jesus Christ in the wilderness, seated on a rocky outcrop. He is dressed in a reddish robe and a dark cloak, his head bowed, and his hands clasped together in front of him. His expression is one of deep contemplation and sorrow, with visible signs of weariness.
The setting is stark and desolate, with a barren, rocky landscape stretching out towards a distant, muted horizon. The sky transitions from a pale yellow at the top to soft hues of pink and orange near the horizon, suggesting either dawn or dusk. The overall atmosphere is one of isolation, quietude, and immense spiritual burden.
The subtexts of the painting are rich and multi-layered:
Ivan Kramskois Christ in the Wilderness is renowned for its psychological depth, portraying Jesus not as a triumphant figure, but as a profoundly human and introspective individual facing an immense spiritual challenge.
