Что за непонятные цифры вместо названий картин?? И это явление повсеместно по всему сайту! Стыдно для ресурса, который одним из первых выдается Яндексом по запросу "живопись" или "картины известных художников"! Наведите порядок, пожалуйста!

Flanking her are several figures with wings – angels, clearly – who actively participate in this upward movement. One angel on the left gestures towards a cross positioned centrally within the scene; its stark wooden form contrasts sharply with the ethereal quality of the surrounding figures. Another angel to the right appears to be assisting in the woman’s ascent, their hands intertwined. The positioning and expressions of these celestial beings suggest an intervention from the divine realm, a support for the womans spiritual journey.
At the base of the composition, a small, nude child holds a cluster of lilies – symbols frequently associated with purity and resurrection. This figure appears to be looking up at the ascending woman, perhaps representing innocence or a hopeful anticipation of salvation. The child’s placement grounds the scene while simultaneously directing the viewers gaze upwards towards the central action.
The lighting is dramatic, employing chiaroscuro techniques to highlight key figures and create a sense of depth. Light emanates from an unseen source above, illuminating the woman and angels while casting the lower portion of the composition in shadow. This contrast reinforces the spiritual elevation taking place.
Subtly woven into the scene are themes of faith, sacrifice, and divine grace. The cross serves as a potent reminder of suffering and redemption, while the ascending woman embodies spiritual transcendence. The presence of the angels underscores the belief in heavenly assistance for those devoted to religious practice. The lilies held by the child symbolize hope and renewal, suggesting that even amidst earthly trials, purity and faith can lead to eternal life. Overall, the painting conveys a powerful narrative about devotion, suffering, and the promise of spiritual ascension.
