Than luxurious suites – their flaw

Countless masks with sharp beaks here.
And for settling accounts there are
Magnificent daggers.

Capes, coats, dominoes,
Jesuits – a meaty soup.
Equal – great, unknown,
Thin, pot-bellied. Drink wine!
How reliable is the lion guard?
In the palace – secret writings of wealth.
To walk through those rooms
Your status probably wont allow.

Darkening with lacquer, a black coffin
Will be delivered to the island by gondola.
On the lid – grayish lumps are crushed,
So that the skeleton of life will shudder.
And the city itself is all in fog.
Here there is a milky haze.
Traces in the fog – like burrows.
And suddenly the stone loses weight.

Or a dragon – anything you want.
And the alleys in unison

Through the stone garden
Everything suddenly settled on your soul.

Its a pity that the column-leading man
Wont drink wine, chatting over a glass
In a tavern with someone. To me
The rhythm of turns is measured and frequent.
Such a rare niche is empty
Everywhere you feel dampness.
Let something in life not work out –
Like a revelation and mercy
Is given to Venice, a star.

And a bridge floats magnificently.

Now, evaluate quickly
Bellinis realm, Titians!
Despair is horribly
In the Venetian days paradise.
Embroidery and light painting,
And cloudy drapery.
