I was impressed by the painting I saw on your website. In my opinion, for this woman and her grandson, God is alive and accessible, and peoples reactions demonstrate this. It must have been unexpected and amazing for them to see a woman so sincerely thanking God in prayer, without being ashamed of her faith. Perhaps those around her were feeling a need for God, or perhaps some were experiencing that feeling for the first time. Her words of gratitude likely resonated with their desires. Often, for some people, God only serves as a waiter. They dont think about Him when things are going well, but they turn to Him when things go wrong. Its a shame that some people miss the opportunity to thank God for everything He does for them. I want to be like this woman.
