The image is a Soviet propaganda poster from 1935. The central figure is Joseph Stalin, depicted in a commanding pose with his right hand raised. He is wearing a military-style uniform and a long coat. Behind him, to his left, is a crowd of diverse Soviet citizens – workers, soldiers, women, and an elderly man, all looking up at Stalin with expressions of hope and admiration. Many are carrying flowers, possibly signifying celebration or a welcome.
The dominant text at the top, in red Russian letters, reads: ..КАДРЫ РЕШАЮТ ВСЁ which translates to ...Cadres decide everything. Below this, smaller text says И.В.СТАЛИН (I.V. Stalin). The caption at the bottom confirms the title and attribution: 101. Klutsis G. Cadres decide everything. I.V. Stalin. 1935.
