Something is wrong with her. Isnt this his job?
Whats wrong with it? Typical Klimt.
Yes, Judith is a typical Jewish woman. Shes the epitome of the Jewish female face. And Holofernes is the quintessential Assyrian. Bravo.
This is Judith, the second one by Klimt, painted in 1904-1905.

The subtexts of this painting, titled Judith, refer to the biblical story of Judith, a Jewish widow who saved her people by seducing and beheading the Assyrian general Holofernes. The portrait can be interpreted as a representation of female power, seduction, and liberation. Judith is portrayed as a femme fatale, embodying both beauty and danger. The luxurious ornamentation and the exposed body emphasize her allure, while the severed head signifies her triumph over male power and tyranny. The painting evokes themes of desire, death, and divine retribution, presented through a modern Art Nouveau lens that blends symbolic and decorative elements. The golden background and ornate details suggest a timeless, mythical quality, elevating Judith from a historical figure to an archetypal symbol of female strength and agency.
