Looking at Dubovskoys painting The Sea, ones heart might flutter in their chest upon seeing the landscape. The azure sea shows ripples on its surface. Waves seem to surge onto the sandy shore, washing over the rocks. Sometimes it feels as if you can hear the sound of the surf and the howling wind that occasionally fills the sails of yachts gliding across the blue expanse. In the sunset rays, the water is painted in bright pink, red, azure, and even purple hues; one could gaze at this wonder for hours. In the distance, it slowly merges with the horizon. The clouds are blurred and also tinted in soft tones. The entire sea is dotted with white yachts, as if they are eternal wanderers, conquerors striving towards an endless horizon...
The rosy expanse of the sea
Stretches in the sunsets shimmering hues,
And the evening veil descends
Upon the wings of restless white seagulls.
