PANTOCRATOR
Rusty arrows of light
Will strike the clouds.
A stream of truth will tremble in your mind
From a gentle breeze.
With a face like a rusty axe,
You are old and heavy.
Your mind is filled with weeds of thought.
May words bring you help!
The Pantocrator gazes
Into the depths of your soul, Greek.
Feofan is famous -
He never dreamed of fate.
The Pantocrator will burn
Your soul with his eyes.
Faith will bind you to the cross.
I will sing of faith.
Without faith, the earth is dead,
The sun does not shine, no.
Words sound weak,
And light is distorted.
The strong pressure of faith
Draws the sinner upwards -
He wants to merge into the angelic choir,
But who will accept him?
With a face like a rusty axe -
How have you, weak one, lived?
You yourself are pure shame,
A dwindling of strength.
The Pantocrator is everywhere.
He protects your soul,
Your essence, and so on.
Therefore, hell will not consume you.
The Pantocrator is everywhere -
Strive only for him -
Now and forever, here
And there, denying darkness.
It is absurd to consider the creation of nature as something shameful. Nature did not create itself. Progress is wonderful, but its foolish to deny the existence of darkness; after all, it is the foundation of our type of universe. Without it, light has nowhere to shine!

The figure’s attire is noteworthy. He wears a crimson cloak draped over one shoulder, contrasting sharply with the dark fabric visible beneath it. The cloaks rich color draws the eye and suggests significance, possibly denoting royalty or divine status. A white shirt or tunic peeks from beneath the cloak, adding another layer of texture and visual interest.
His left hand is raised in a gesture of blessing, palm outward, while his right hand is extended, index finger pointing upwards. This posture evokes established religious symbolism – the former signifying grace and protection, the latter referencing divine authority or perhaps an invitation to follow. The ring on his finger is also visible, adding another detail that could be interpreted as symbolic.
The background sky is rendered with a loose brushstroke technique, suggesting clouds and atmospheric perspective. It provides a subtle contrast to the figure’s more detailed rendering, preventing it from appearing overly static or flat.
Subtly, theres an interplay of light and shadow across his face and clothing, which enhances the three-dimensionality of the depiction. The lighting is soft and diffused, contributing to the overall sense of tranquility and spiritual contemplation. The painting’s palette is restrained, dominated by reds, blacks, whites, and muted blues, reinforcing a mood of reverence and solemnity.
