We were assigned an essay about it.
A very beautiful painting.
A beautiful picture, but I dont want to write an essay about it.
I wrote an essay on that subject once. But Im not stupid; I copied everything from the best student in the class.
Hey Dron, wheres your essay? Come on, show off what youve copied from the top student!
The picture is good, but the essay about it is terrible! But we have to write it!
The picture is quite nice... but I dont have time to write an essay. And honestly, I wouldnt even want to write it.
A true Nordic landscape
The painting is normal.
I really like this picture; they asked me to write an essay about it. Its kind of boring, but also cool.
A very beautiful painting.
Check out this website. It has a decent essay describing a painting. http://www.rodon.org/art-080103115309
The picture is amazing, but its also a stupid creation, and this definitely isnt SPAM.
Street slang is not suitable for describing paintings.
Ugh... / Just a bunch of idiots. Im 12 years old. They assigned me an essay! But just because it needs to be written doesnt mean its stupid, idiotic, or whatever other way you put it. Speech development and the Russian language werent invented for nothing! Agree? Writing an essay is about developing your creative thinking, learning to think, and describing things. And most importantly, enjoying it! You guys are all crazy! A stupid essay? No, *you* guys are stupid if you think you can paint like A. A. Rylov just by drawing.
мдда
mmmm, its not real to write an essay.
A beautiful picture, but I dont want to write an essay about it, and thats all.
The painting is awesome.
Its very interesting to write essays; I dont know how it is for you, but I think its great.
I didnt enjoy writing the essay, but the picture is cool ))) everything is okay ))):)!
Sculpted clouds, glowing white,
Respond to the vastness of the waters.
So important is the sailboat sailing –
How fully it embodies the idea
Of movement? The flight of birds
Finds light and takes form.
With heavy layers of water,
A part of the sphere slowly sighs.
The painting is amazing; Im going to hang it in my room. But writing an essay about it seems uninteresting!
The painting is amazing!
You are all so cool!!!
The picture is disgusting!!!
Usually, you dont feel like writing an essay when you have nothing to say.
ебаная
The painting is awful, and I still have to write an essay.
Why write an essay when you can copy it from the internet?
The painting In the Blue Expanse was created by Russian landscape artist Arkady Alexandrovich Rylov in 1918. It is currently housed in the State Tretyakov Gallery. In the painting, we see lush clouds that resemble whipped cream floating across the sky. Against this backdrop, pure white swans are flying with their wings spread wide. They are joyfully returning to their homeland from warmer climes. The artist depicted the sea as restless and undulating; we can see that the waves are moving further away and gradually disappearing beyond the horizon. The landscape is complemented by rocks covered in a last shimmer of snow. Powerful waves relentlessly crash against the rocky shore. And the gentle sway of a sailboat on the waves adds an even more complete image to the painting. The artist managed to convey the spring mood of the composition with remarkable accuracy through bright and rich colors.
Thank you, Natalka.
Thank you very much, Natasha ;)
Thank you, Natalka, I got a 5.

Arkady Rylov is a name associated with the era of the emergence of new art in Soviet painting. According to researchers, his works are considered the first significant creations of that time. Critics highly appreciate A. Rylovs painting In the Blue Expanse.
It was painted in 1918. The painting captivates the viewer with its vast expanse and life-affirming power. The entire space of the work is filled with sea and sky. Merging into one on the horizon, they create an impression of infinity and boundless space. And in this endless blue expanse, a flock of swans flies across the sky, while a sailboat floats on the sea under snow-white sails.
The swans move towards the sun. Its rays brightly illuminate the white, proud beauties, freely and effortlessly soaring above the blue surface of the sea. The swans either soar in free flight or surge forward with a powerful flap of their wings. And above and below them float light, fluffy clouds moving in the same direction.
In the blue expanse of the sea, the movement of the birds is echoed by a sailboat sailing over the waves, barely touching them. It gives the impression that it too is soaring, but in a different space. The billowing snow-white sails are also brightly illuminated by the sun, just like the white swans in the sky and the clouds. Together with the ship, the birds, and the clouds, the waves move, covered with white crests.
In A. Rylovs painting, everything is in motion. It seems that even the snow-covered shore is moving somewhere, following everyone else, towards where the bright sun and unknown distances lie. The artist has miraculously created an endless movement, full of life and light.
клас!
Thank you so much, I really liked it! And I got a 5.
Its a very beautiful picture, isnt it? (y)
The painting In the Blue Expanse by Arkhip Kuindzhi was painted by the artist almost a century ago. It depicts an incredibly delicate and peaceful landscape in blue tones that captivates the viewer for a long time.
The word Expanse, which is included in the title of the work, perfectly describes the landscape. A vast blue dome of the sky stretches above dark, beckoning sea waves. Light white clouds float across the sky, and as if following their example, seven snow-white swans soar into the distance. With their free wings spread wide, these beautiful birds rush somewhere far away, driven by warm winds, and in this endless blue expanse, they seem like fairytale characters. On the horizon, proud and inaccessible rocky cliffs rise. Against the backdrop of their immobility and silence, it seems that the swans are rushing into the distance freely and swiftly, and you can feel the breath of the sea breeze.
The entire painting is filled with a smooth but rapid movement. This feeling is so captivating that the viewer involuntarily begins to feel as if they themselves are moving and observing the landscape from a small boat rocking on the waves.
In the distance, a ship glides across the ocean waves on its billowing sails – white and free, like the proud birds soaring above it. The painting by Kuindzhi is full of symbolism. Looking at this landscape, one involuntarily thinks about how a person, like a free bird, can set off for distant lands, swiftly and without looking back. Only you have to withstand the surge of waves and not crash against the proud, inaccessible cliffs...
My essay:
Arkady Rylov painted his picture In the Azure Expanse almost a hundred years ago, in 1918. In that difficult time, many artists tried to express all the depth of feelings that filled them in their works. And although at first glance, this painting does not say anything about the revolutionary events of those years, it embodied the most bright thoughts and hopes for a better life in the future.
This canvas captivates from the first glance with its serenity, tranquility, despite the dynamism of this picture, and the all-encompassing feeling of space. Birds, swans of stunning beauty, fly far away over the harsh northern sea, over the dark water, above which stretches a beautiful blue sky with white clouds rushing into the distance. The dynamism and movement in the painting are given by both the birds and the movement of the waves, and a lone sailboat sailing into the distance, which itself resembles these magnificent creatures soaring through the cold, clear air with their enormous wings. In the background, on the canvas, you can see a rocky, snow-covered shore, which is depicted quite carefully. But the confident birds, certain of their path, fly further, enjoying the feeling of flight.
Many paintings by Arkady Rylov are related to the theme of northern lands, where the artist spent his childhood and youth. In the Azure Expanse is one of the most incredible paintings by the author, which will continue to attract the gaze of generations to come. The master gave the world a masterful painting, which rightfully resides in the Tretyakov Gallery.
The painting In the Blue Expanse by the famous Russian artist Arkady Alexandrovich Rylov has become a kind of starting point for the emerging history of Soviet landscape painting. In the picture, we see the sea, sky, rocks, soaring swans, and a lonely sailboat. All these elements in their own way remind us of the heroes of Soviet poetic lyrics of that time. And their direct purpose in this painting is to convey freedom of movement, freedom of thought, and freedom of life. The rich, light colors of the canvas, with bright accents, help us guess the authors mood. His clear azure sky, white airy clouds, strong free birds, calm sea surface, and the outlines of a rock and a sailboat on it transport us to an atmosphere of a wonderful landscape. We, as if, immerse ourselves in the blue expanse offered by the artist and childishly rejoice in the life force and freedom of the images depicted in the painting.
Composition about the painting In the Blue Expanse by Arkady Rylov.
The famous Russian artist Arkady Alexandrovich Rylov was born in 1870 and passed away during the Soviet era, in 1939. His life and work took place in St. Petersburg-Leningrad, where he worked on paintings and taught. His favorite genre was landscape. Known works by Rylov include Green Noise (1904), In the Forest (1905), Sunset (1917), Summer Day, and Haymaking. One of his most talented and well-known works is In the Blue Expanse, painted in 1918.
Rylov intuitively felt the revolution of 2017 as a liberation of spirit, as the emergence of freedom and justice. Immediately accepting the new power, the artist practically became one of the founders of a new socialist art in the genre of landscape painting. His work In the Blue Expanse became an expression of the new era, a model of landscape-painting.
The high artistic quality of the paintings technique and composition places it among the most talented classical works not only of the beginning of that era but also of subsequent times. The synthetic, author-created landscape with the northern sea, dark menacing cliffs, a romantic sailboat flying through the waves, and a calm flight of white birds reflects the artists mood about the hopes of a new life, about justice, about new happiness and joy. The major spirit of the painting reflects the artists perception of the new world around him. The composition is full of symbols, intuitively and sensually depicted on the canvas.
Thank you, I received a 5+.
Teachers want us to improve, so that we can learn to express our thoughts correctly and write properly, and from this we gain knowledge. I understand its difficult; Im in 3rd grade, but they assign us these tasks. Those who are submitting these essays are just providing a brief summary of whats written on the internet. WRITE YOUR OWN THOUGHTS! YOU HAVE YOUR OWN BRAINS!!!
My worldview, unfortunately, does not respond to this job at all. In any way.
5 4 3 2 1 boom
Where is this painting kept? I am happily writing an essay.
Horrors!
I didnt write it on the computer; I wrote it from my phone.
Perhaps Pushkin and Lermontov would have described this painting admirably.
I am in the sixth grade, and we were assigned this as homework.
The painting In the Blue Expanse by Arkhip Kuindzhi perfectly reflects its unparalleled beauty. This painting is considered one of the works that marked the beginning of Soviet art. Perhaps this is because the painting has fully preserved its historical significance, while at the same time providing us with aesthetic pleasure and evoking emotions, despite being painted in 1918, almost a century ago.
This painting is very interesting; it captivates with its boundless expanse of blue sky, an unknown force. The entire space of this painting is occupied by a landscape: the blue sky and the sea. What could be more beautiful? Its wonderful to stand on the seashore and watch the clouds merge with the sea, creating a unique impression of infinity.
In this vast blue expanse, seven swans are flying, which further brings the landscape to life and makes it feel realistic. There is a feeling that they are moving towards the sunlight, which gently illuminates them. In the distance, somewhere far from the shore, there is a sailboat with amazing white sails. Of course, all these characteristics only present the painting in a positive light. However, one can notice that the sea in the painting is not calm; the waves are raging. And the color of the sea wave itself certainly does not add joyful feelings.
Thus, Arkhip Kuindzhis painting In the Blue Expanse evokes somewhat ambiguous feelings. On the one hand, the painting looks very vibrant, but on the other hand, the image of the sea in such colors suggests the opposite.
This masterpiece by Rylov echoes Levitans Lake. Russia. Both paintings are about eternal, ever-renewing life, and about eternal Russia. However, in Levitans work, eternity is static, with a stronger emphasis on Russian identity. In contrast, Rylovs painting features a delightful dynamism and freshness, embodying a generalized image of early spring along the northern seas, much like Green Noise captures the essence of May in the Russian plains, with its coolness and the music of rustling leaves. It is a hymn to life and Russia!
You cannot comment Why?
The painting depicts a dramatic arctic or antarctic landscape under a vast, dynamic sky. The foreground is dominated by dark, choppy blue-green water, suggesting a cold and possibly turbulent sea. Scattered across the water are small whitecaps and ripples, adding texture and movement.
In the middle ground, a rugged, snow-capped coastline is visible. The land masses are rocky and mountainous, with patches of green indicating some vegetation peeking through the snow. Several small islands or ice formations dot the water near the coast. A large, majestic sailing ship with full sails is positioned in the left-middle ground, sailing on the dark sea, seemingly heading towards the distant land.
The sky is a vibrant, deep blue, filled with large, dramatic, and luminous white clouds. These clouds are rendered with a sense of volume and depth, catching the light and creating a dynamic aerial perspective. Emerging from and flying amidst these clouds are a flock of seven white swans. Their wings are spread, suggesting graceful flight. They are depicted from various angles, enhancing the sense of movement and freedom.
The painting as a whole evokes a sense of grandeur, wildness, and freedom. The contrast between the powerful elements of nature – the sea, the sky, the land, and the flying swans – and the man-made vessel creates a compelling narrative.
