Its so soft and brilliant that you can feel the touch of a true master. The subject looks deep into the girls soul, and the viewer senses the care in the image, without any posing or sentimentality. The tone of the portrait is perfectly chosen: calm, sincere, and slightly melancholic. Wonderful!
Divine photorealism. Deep respect to Bugro!

This is a portrait of a young girl, likely a child, painted in a realistic style. She has light brown hair parted in the middle and tied back with a deep red ribbon, which also forms a small bow on top of her head. Her eyes, a striking blue-gray, are looking off to the side with a somewhat wistful or contemplative expression. Her skin is fair, with a delicate rosy hue on her cheeks. She is wearing a simple, light-colored dress with a ruffled white collar. The background is dark and muted, which serves to highlight the subjects face and features. The signature W-BOVCVEREAV - 1886 indicates the artist and year of creation.
