Within the central square, a predominantly blue space contains several abstracted figures. These are rendered in a simplified, almost childlike style, with heavy outlines and limited detail. A large, white form resembling an animal – perhaps a feline or canine – occupies much of the upper portion of this panel. Below it sits another similar figure, also white, but positioned horizontally. Between these two forms is a small, orange cat-like creature, its posture suggesting alertness or curiosity.
The artist employs a limited palette – red, blue, white, and touches of orange and yellow – which contributes to the work’s somewhat dreamlike quality. The application of paint appears deliberate yet gestural; visible brushstrokes add texture and depth. A sense of flatness is maintained throughout, despite the layering effect created by the placement of elements.
The arrangement of figures suggests a narrative, though its precise meaning remains elusive. The juxtaposition of animal forms within the structured square panel creates an intriguing tension between naturalistic representation and geometric abstraction. The scattered motifs in the background seem to function as visual echoes or fragments of memory, adding another layer of complexity to the work’s overall effect. One might interpret this as a playful exploration of form, color, and spatial relationships, inviting viewers to construct their own meaning from its enigmatic imagery.
