The artist employed a loose technique, allowing the pigments to bleed and blend freely across the paper. This contributes to an overall sense of transience and ephemerality. Splatters and drips are incorporated as integral parts of the design, adding texture and visual interest while further emphasizing the spontaneity of the process. The application of color is uneven; areas of intense saturation contrast with passages of near transparency, generating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow.
Subtly embedded within the larger composition are darker blue markings that resemble stems or branches, anchoring the more ethereal floral forms to an implied ground. These lines possess a nervous energy, their jagged edges disrupting the otherwise gentle flow of color.
The work evokes feelings of melancholy and quiet contemplation. The muted palette and blurred boundaries suggest a sense of loss or fading memory. It is possible to interpret this as a meditation on the fleeting nature of beauty and the passage of time. The absence of sharp definition encourages subjective interpretation, inviting the viewer to project their own associations onto the ambiguous forms.
