Сейчас бы можно было и покруче) В красном платье, с распущенными волосами, у окна и т. п, но в то время все так мрачно рисовали, так что по сравнению с другими пойдет)

Who was Alexandra Struyskaya? Her name has almost been erased by time, but a portrait, captured with the stroke of a great painters brush, still lives on today.
... It is known that Struyskaya had eighteen children. Her husband was a wealthy widower who, however, soon died. But he loved his bride madly and decided to give her an expensive and unusual gift – he commissioned Fyodor Rokotov to paint her portrait.

The painting Alexandra Struyskaya is distinguished by its amazing refinement of forms, transparency of image, and the magic of light, powdered hair, and a barely noticeable gleam in darkened eyes. The painting depicts a very young girl who does not yet know what awaits her: a tyrannical husband, the death of ten children, serious illnesses.
But it seems that Fyodor Rokotov already knew. He began working on Struyskayas portrait around the age of forty. When he took up his brush, he felt as if he could foresee the future. After all, art is also a form of telepathy.
The artist depicted many beautiful women of that distant time. They were all from quite high social classes.
Fyodor Rokotov was born near Moscow in the eighteenth century. By lineage, he was considered a serf, but his artistic talent was noticed by a famous nobleman while he was still young. Today, Rokotov is considered one of the best and most famous Russian portrait painters. He worked in the Rococo style.

The portrait of Alexandra Petrovna Struyskaya was likely painted in 1772-1773 at the request of her husband, Nikolai Struysky, a wealthy landowner from Penza. Struysky liked Rokotovs work so much that he made the artist a friend of the family and collected a collection of his paintings.
In the portrait, Struyskaya seems to emerge from the darkness. Her charming, rosy face, which inspired poets even in the 20th century, has a soft smile, and her expressive eyes look thoughtfully and dreamily into the distance. Struyskayas long hair is styled according to the fashion of the late 18th century; the viewer can see the landowners outfit: a light morning dress with a shawl attached to the dress with a pearl embellishment.
Her high, smooth forehead, beautifully arched eyebrows... But Rokotov was particularly successful in capturing Struyskayas large, bright eyes: they seem to be trying to glimpse the future through a haze.
And the landowners life turned out wonderfully: she lacked for nothing, her husband adored her, dedicating poems of his own composition to her. Alexandra Petrovna had 18 children, and the landowner herself lived to a respectable age, dying at the age of 86, leaving behind a beautiful portrait as a memory for posterity.

Outside the window is the eighteenth century. I sit in a warm room near the canvas and apply brushstroke after brushstroke. I am an artist, and at that moment I was painting the most beautiful woman of this era. I carefully outlined her face, trying to accurately depict each strand of her hair, but above all, her eyes, so that when looking at the portrait, they seemed alive, in order to accurately convey her unimaginable beauty to posterity. A lot of time has passed since I started working on it. Now I was filling the canvas with colors, carefully emphasizing the blush on her delicate cheeks, outlining her thin, feminine lips, gently applying color to her beautiful and pure neck. Yes, her beauty could strike down any landowner, I thought. So, dont get distracted from work! I continued to create this masterpiece. At the end of the work, I achieved the desired result: her eyes were more alive than ever. She was looking at me from the canvas as if she were sitting next to me. Beauty is eternal, a thought flashed through my head. I didnt waste my time on this creation in vain. Feelings of joy and happiness filled me. Thats what inspiration can do for an ordinary person.
