Bears!
There is an oil painting on canvas, a piece that has been in one family for 90 years. 89201288112
I love this painting, especially the fluffy bear cubs; I adore them! They are so lovely.
A cool picture is especially appealing, and these bears attract attention.
An animal artist advised Medvezhat to write to I. Shishkin, and before that, Shishkin had been painting landscapes.
No one can see this up close in nature. Youre only seeing it once in your lifetime! ))))
We also have a copy at home, its definitely over 60 years old.
We were in St. Petersburg in 2017 after being away for 21 years. We visited the Russian Museum and felt like we were meeting Shishkins, Levitans, and Savrasovs paintings as if they were relatives.
The painting is very bright, and the bear cubs are adorable.
You cannot comment Why?
The focal point of the painting, however, is a family of bears frolicking amidst the natural debris. Four bear cubs are playfully engaged in various activities, their dark fur contrasting with the greens and browns of the forest. One cub is perched precariously on a fallen, broken tree trunk, looking curiously towards the viewer. Another two are nestled together on a mossy branch, perhaps wrestling or simply enjoying each others company. A third cub is seen standing, its back to the viewer, as if observing something in the distance. It is implied that a mother bear is also present, though not directly depicted in the immediate foreground, suggesting a watchful presence overseeing her playful offspring.
The subtext of the painting lies in its celebration of natures untamed beauty and the innocence of wildlife. The title itself, Morning in a Pine Forest, evokes a sense of peace, renewal, and the quiet majesty of the wilderness at the start of a new day. The bears, often seen as symbols of strength and wildness, are here portrayed in a gentle, almost domestic light, their playful antics highlighting the harmonious coexistence of animals within their natural habitat. The painting can be interpreted as an ode to the Russian wilderness, showcasing its grandeur and the vibrant life it sustains. The sense of light filtering through the trees adds to the overall atmosphere of tranquility and a hint of mystery, inviting the viewer to become immersed in this idyllic moment of nature.
