nonsense... I like Harry Potter more... and this is just gibberish... thats what it is =)) GOSH.
And to top it off, you have to write an essay about it... ugh... this is a real nightmare... ((
I absolutely hate artists because I have to write essays about their damn paintings! Its such a pain in the ass...
This is art, and art should be respected.
I hate writing essays about paintings... especially when theres nothing to latch onto... but people, heres an essay for you): its not mine, but still...
Today, I was assigned at school to write an essay about any painting from the collection of chocolate pictures called Vernissage. Here is that essay:
I will try to describe a painting that I dont know. Its clear that this painting immediately catches the eye with its colors. You really want to immerse yourself in the holiday depicted in it.
When you look at this work of art for the first time, you notice the main character. This person is clearly very rich and respectable. This is noticeable from his clothes and face. His fur coat is not cheap, and you can see how chic it was for that era. Hes wearing clean black trousers and polished shoes.
Near the feet of the main character is his loyal, snow-white dog, which doesnt leave his side. It probably would give its life for him.
I am surprised by a small detail: it seems to me that all the people in this painting are looking at the main character! This really impressed and interested me. In my opinion, it seems that this person is the organizer of this carnival – I dont know what you think, but I do. I even have a small question for the author of this painting: why does this very respectable and wealthy man stand on a hill? I dont know if the author will answer this question, but maybe other people can help me understand it. Or maybe I will never know the answer.
Of course, you could describe this painting for a very long time and in great detail, nitpicking at everything, but I will only take the main things that I saw in this completely new painting to me. I dont know what you think of this painting, but it pleased me, although there are some small criticisms of the author, but thats not so important. I advise everyone to appreciate this painting and enjoy all its beauty!
Ilya, I see you appreciate art... then at least spell that word correctly!
Schoolboy, come out!
The author wanted to depict Chaliapin in this painting as a gentleman.
So many mistakes.
Well, are there any mistakes? Then dont look at them! The main thing is that theres something to look at!
Polina! What the actual f***? Are you trying to be the smartest? Show some respect, or at least try to! It looks like you dont respect others very much either, judging by how you write.
People, do you need a simple essay or an essay with elements of journalism?

ESSAYS, ESSAYS! THESE TEACHERS GIVE ME SUCH HEADACHES. THEY TELL US TO SIT AND WRITE AT NIGHT, BUT THEY THEMSELVES ARE ALREADY SLEEPING BY 11! ITS SO FRUSTRATING.
A portrait is a highly detailed representation.
I enjoy writing essays based on paintings.
I also love essays.
This is all nonsense. Write about his clothes and surroundings, and a solid 4 is guaranteed!
Are you sure? Our whole class wrote an essay based on this!
What the hell is this? I think this painting is complete nonsense!
In my opinion, the essay is not very good because it only talks about clothes, and there are many mistakes. In general, essays about paintings should focus on the inner world, not just the clothing and the dog.
I have to write a portrait essay about this painting, but I dont even know where to start.
Im a future artist with a very unconventional way of thinking when it comes to drawing. Can you imagine how difficult it would be to write essays about my paintings? xD )))
I hate writing essays... Nothing comes to mind, so I have to search the internet...!!!
Согласна....
This is very interesting, but it has no errors at all.
I was assigned to write an essay, its driving me crazy, Ive been working on it for two hours already... Everything is so frustrating.
I have the same thing.
Hey guys, I was also assigned to write about this painting, and Im sitting here trying to figure out what to write.
I liked it.
... are all the people here idiots, or just some of them?
Art deserves respect, and old paintings are one of the threads that connect us to a countrys past!
I need help describing a painting of Shalyapin. Please provide me with details about what is depicted in the painting so I can write about it.
Nancy, you dont know anything about teachers. Maybe its better not to say that. Do you think its easy for teachers to write these lesson plans and constantly prepare for classes? Do you think its easy, and do you think they go to bed at 11? Many of them have families and household responsibilities.
Well, I could copy an essay from a website and pass it off as my own! http://booklisting.ru/pomoshh-po-predmetam/russkij-yazyk/napisat-osnovnuyu-chast-sochineniya-sochinenie-ocherk-po-kartine-kustodieva-portret-shalyapina/
What a talentless Shalyapin! Hes just a chubby man in a beaver coat with a pug dog.
You cannot comment Why?
The background reveals a bustling winter market or fair, rendered with vibrant colors and energetic brushstrokes. Numerous figures populate the space – vendors displaying wares, shoppers milling about, children playing, and individuals engaged in various activities. Architectural elements suggest a traditional Russian setting, with wooden structures and decorative details characteristic of the period. The snow-covered ground is animated by movement, creating a sense of lively chaos.
The artist’s use of light contributes significantly to the overall effect. A diffused, almost ethereal glow illuminates the scene, softening the harshness of the winter landscape while highlighting the figure in the foreground. This illumination draws immediate attention to him, establishing his importance within the narrative.
Subtleties within the painting hint at a commentary on social standing and cultural identity. The man’s opulent attire contrasts sharply with the more modest clothing worn by those in the background, suggesting a clear distinction between classes. The inclusion of traditional Russian architecture and customs reinforces a sense of national pride and heritage. The dog, often a symbol of loyalty and companionship, further underscores the subjects perceived importance and perhaps even his connection to the people depicted behind him.
The overall impression is one of celebratory abundance, capturing a moment of cultural vibrancy within a specific historical context. It’s a portrait not merely of an individual, but also of a social milieu – a snapshot of a society defined by both its traditions and its hierarchies.
