Какие глаза!
This portrait was good, if it wasnt diminished by a certain obvious prosaic quality of the portrayed subject and the event itself. The portrait was painted during a pivotal era when many artists had already completely or partially lost their true understanding of beautiful art, forgetting how to appreciate the mysterious power of light and shadow in painting, ceasing to seek aesthetically pleasing color schemes for their works. As a result, their creations bear the distinct mark of prosaic boredom and weariness. Perhaps this decline in artistic taste among both creators and patrons will lead them, in the not-so-distant future, to embrace utterly insignificant artistic ideals (such as Malevichs tiny squares), which may be a harbinger of the end of human civilization.
Красивое интеллигентное лицо, осанка, пальцы. Красавица!

This is a formal portrait painting of Grand Duchess Maria Feodorovna, wife of Tsar Alexander III of Russia. She is depicted from the waist up, standing, and looking directly at the viewer.
