The woman’s attire contributes significantly to the overall impression. A long, full skirt of muted brown dominates the lower portion of the frame, its texture rendered with visible brushstrokes that suggest both fabric and wear. The upper body is clad in a darker jacket over what seems to be a lighter blouse, creating a contrast in tones and textures. Her hair, dark and voluminous, frames her face, which displays an expression difficult to definitively interpret – it could be interpreted as amusement, defiance, or perhaps a quiet self-assurance.
