SKY
The lilac sky, turning yellowish,
Easily changes its hue.
When there was always enough bread,
There was no need to speak of trouble.
A storm hardly causes sadness,
If its meant to pour, let it pour.
The depths of the sky are understood by
A wise person, like a unique forest.
Yes, a forest where sums and combinations
Of metaphysical trunks
Promise such knowledge,
That words cannot express.
Magical light shines! The work is full of nuances!!!
The sea glows with shades of blue, azure, emerald, opal, and violet, boundless, free, and mighty. – A. A. Yuferova
The seashore of the Mediterranean Sea. Painting by Isaac Levitan.
Like clouds, waves flow to the shore,
Playing with pebbles and shells,
And reveal their free-spirited nature,
Hissing like snakes with foamy crests.
With a hiss, a wave licks the flat shore,
Mixing sand, shells, and pebbles.
It sinks into the sand, diminishing in size,
Disappearing quickly and quietly.
Another follows close behind,
And again, you hear the hissing,
Repeating what came before,
Until its complete disappearance.
In the sky that merges with the water
On the horizon, a seagull flies alone,
Crying with great longing
For lifes hardships and sometimes cruelty.
What a combination of different colors!
The waves have a green-yellow hue,
While the sandy shore has a gray color.
Above the sea, the sky is bathed in blue light.
How I long to be on the seashore,
So that foamy waves could caress my feet,
And so that I could listen to the sound of the surf,
And along with it, the cry of a seagull, even if lonely.

The subtexts of this painting can be interpreted in several ways. The lone seagull might symbolize freedom, solitude, or a spiritual presence observing the scene. The calm sea and sky evoke a sense of peace and introspection, possibly suggesting a moment of quiet contemplation for the viewer or the artist. The muted color palette and soft focus could imply a sense of nostalgia or a dreamlike quality, hinting at memories or idealized landscapes. The painting, created in 1890, might subtly reflect a turn-of-the-century artistic sensibility that favored impressionistic representations of nature and emotional resonance over strict realism.
