у меня нескачиваются картины, почему?
Valentin Serov is something special. Whether anyone can measure the soul of an artist, or understand it. I have a wonderful feeling about Serov; I love his painting Bathing Horse. And I also really love Konstantin Korovin. I rarely encounter such positive and vibrant paintings as those by Korovin. In my opinion, Serov and Korovin are kindred spirits. They undoubtedly share common values. Korovin loved life, colors, and painting itself. Its like Fyodor Cherenkov, who simply loved football and didnt find it a burden. Similarly, Korovin loves painting so much that its evident, and you can just keep looking at his works and feel as if you cant get enough of them.
The artist invites us to view the painting through the eyes of the man depicted in it, who is facing away from the viewer. K. A. Korovin does not emphasize the features of his characters face, but instead presents a simple Russian landscape, a part of rural life that is familiar to all of us, at least visually. Thats why this painting resonates with everyone.
The still water evokes philosophical reflections on life, and its likely that the man in the painting experiences something similar. On the opposite shore of the lake, we see a field: what will the harvest be? How will the upcoming winter fare for the village residents? We can contemplate these and many other questions for a long time. But now, before us is autumn nature: everything is peaceful and quiet. Soon, the first frosts will begin, and a sense of peace and tranquility descends upon the soul. All of this is thanks to the artists skill in creating an atmosphere of contemplation through subtle colors.

The scene is rendered in a loose, impressionistic style, with visible brushstrokes that convey a sense of movement and atmosphere. The water is depicted with shimmering reflections, broken by dark, abstract shapes that suggest foliage or reeds. The landscape across the river is a muted expanse of browns and grays, with a suggestion of trees or hills in the distance.
The subtext of the painting likely lies in its introspective and personal nature. By portraying himself on the riverbank, Korovin might be exploring his connection to nature, his creative process, or a moment of personal reflection. The vastness of the landscape compared to the solitary figure could evoke feelings of solitude, contemplation, or even a sense of awe before the natural world. The unfinished quality of some areas of the painting contributes to its raw and immediate feel, perhaps emphasizing the fleeting moment captured.
