Известная картина. Часто её видел на просторах интернета, но не знал кто автор, и вот случайно узнал.

The painting depicts the mythological story of Hylas, a handsome youth and companion of Hercules, who was lured into a pond by water nymphs. In the foreground, Hylas is partially submerged in the water, reaching out towards several nude nymphs who are emerging from the lily-pad-covered pool. The nymphs, with their long, flowing hair and alluring gazes, surround Hylas, some touching him as if to draw him further into their watery realm. Hylas appears to be captivated or perhaps trapped, his expression a mix of surprise and enchantment. The background is a dense, dark forest, with lush vegetation and reeds framing the scene, creating an atmosphere of mystery and enchantment.
