"Moving Light" by Sergey Postnikov at the Central House of Artists

On June 26, Sergei Postnikov’s project “Sliding Light” was opened, combining meters of domestic impressionism such as Bato Dugarzhapov, Alexander Bobrov, Ilya Danshin, Yuri Konstantinov, Evgeny Kravtsov, Elena Petrova, Mikhail Kaban-Petrov, Vladimir Stakheev, Andrey Pliev, Mamuk Gogshelidze, Vitaly Makarov, etc.

In their works, sometimes the protagonist is played by light, gliding over each component of the world and coloring it in billions of defy descriptions. It’s impossible to tear yourself away from many paintings - the effect of the present sun is so magical. Even the graphic works retain its imprint, not to mention the delicate watercolors, as if woven from the first rays of dawn, or picturesque canvases, fascinating with all kinds of refraction of light.

Each work is done by a refined technique, not a single extra smear or color spot. Otherwise, it would be impossible to achieve such a difficult goal as to catch all the possible shades of the world, hourly changing depending on the location and activity of the sun.

Visitors will have the opportunity to study a series of new works by Sergey Postnikov, as well as participate in his master class in watercolor, which is scheduled to be held on June 28. The exhibition at the Central House of Artists runs until August 12.
