At the exhibition in Chelyabinsk landscapes and still lifes with autumn themes

The Chelyabinsk Institute of Arts provided a venue for an exhibition of paintings by artists of the Southern Urals, organized by the famous businessman Nikolai Perevozchikov. All the paintings of the exhibition are owned by Nikolai Perevozchikov himself, a person who is close to the world of art, not only as a collector of painting, but also as a children’s poet.

The theme that united all the works was the autumn motive of each of the paintings. And the exhibition itself was given the corresponding name - "Autumn melodies." Most of the work, located in the huge lobby of the institute, is written in the genres of still life and landscape. Each of the 26 works on display at the exhibition dates from different years. There are paintings written recently, and some belong to the middle of the last century.

Nikolai Perevozchikov began to collect his collection when he realized that many residents of Chelyabinsk can’t imagine how talented artists create their works next to them. Gradually, the works of local artists dispersed throughout the country, so Perevozchikova had a desire to preserve the work of the best masters of painting and graphics in their native land.

Now the collection collected by Nikolai Perevozchikov amounted to more than two thousand paintings, written by his fellow countrymen. Since the exhibition’s exposition is dedicated to autumn, only a small part of the entrepreneur’s collection was included in it. This is not the first exhibition hosted by Perevozchikov, so the names of most authors whose paintings became its exhibits are familiar to regular viewers.

“Autumn in Suzdal”, “Golden Autumn”, “Candles” - all these paintings are devoted to the poetic state of the soul of the authors of the paintings. The exhibition will be available until November 1st.
