Exhibition "Three P" in Kiev gallery Workshop

On November 2, an exhibition was launched in Kiev dedicated to the work of the cult director Lars Von Trier. The artist Nikolai Belous plays up the idea of violence, wonderfully played out in one of the director’s most powerful psychological films, Dogville.

12 paintings depict the most powerful accents of Evil, which is manifested through violence, debauchery, luxury. Absorbing people who are not able to resist external influences and protect their own moral values. The project of Nikolai Belous is, at the same time, a tribute to the work of Trier and his own contribution to understanding the origins of evil and depravity of people.

Several works are dedicated to Dogville residents; others depict typical mistakes that drive people off the right path and are the main reason for the long fall down and the fatal end. The main character of the film is either the victim or the reason for the awakening of animal instincts in people around. The exhibition will last 2 weeks and will be interesting to all fans of the director.
