Ivangorod is amazed at the work of a new generation of artists from Russia and Estonia

IVANGOROD. Since February 21, for three months, residents of Ivangorod have been able to attend the landmark exhibition “Connected by the Border”, organized by the Euro Union to maintain cultural ties between young generations of Russian and Estonian artists.

Cross-border cooperation between two cities - Narva and Ivangorod was well developed in Soviet times, then there was a lull for several decades. Which is now put to an end. In October 2012, an art competition was held in both cities for children under the age of 16 years. The best works not only received pleasant awards, but were also collected in a single exhibition.

The result of the competition was an exposition of 160 beautiful works performed in various art techniques. Childhood knows no boundaries. The wonderful works of Estonian and Russian schoolchildren are filled with light, joy, and sincerity. Pure emotions and experiences, relevant topics for children, dreams and real life.

Each picture is the inner world of the child. Real, living, sparkling warmth! The exhibition is like a museum of saturated feelings, undisguised emotions. It will be useful to everyone to come to it: children will find their soul mates, adults will be cleansed of a raid of disappointment and skepticism.
