Yaroslavl artists celebrated their anniversary with three large-scale exhibitions

YAROSLAVL. In honor of the celebration of the eightieth anniversary of the Yaroslavl branch of the Union of Artists, the grand opening of the art exhibition took place on October 13 at the Millennium Cultural Center. The exhibition was attended by colleagues of anniversaries who came from the Moscow, Kostroma, Vladimir and even Arkhangelsk regions of the country.

The guests arrived in Yaroslavl not only with congratulations to the anniversaries, but also with their work, which constituted the exposition of the anniversary exhibition. The spacious halls of the cultural center comfortably accommodate more than 220 paintings and drawings. The exhibition exposition included not only the work of guests who arrived for the holiday. There was enough space here to present the work of each master of painting, who is a member of the Yaroslavl branch of the Union.

A variety of styles and genres of painting presented at the exhibition can be appreciated by both professionals and ordinary lovers of pictorial art. According to Alexander Alexandrov, who is the honorary head of Yaroslavl artists, such a large-scale exhibition makes it possible for each artist to feel part of the vast Community of Russian masters of art.

In addition to the opening of the exhibition, on the same day, the Philharmonic hosted the awarding of the best artists of Yaroslavl. However, the opening of today’s exhibition did not end the anniversary celebration. On Monday, October 14th, two more exhibitions will be opened in the city. Visitors are waiting for the exhibition hall to them. Nuzhin and the Union of Artists, who placed the exhibition in his central hall. The total number of paintings, graphic works and objects of applied art presented at the exhibitions reaches five hundred.
