In the hall of the Academy of watercolors presented the work of Victor Korsakov

MOSCOW. The exhibition hall of the Academy of Watercolors presents the exhibition "Father’s House", where art connoisseurs will be able to see about a hundred paintings by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Viktor Korsakov. Graduate of the Institute. Surikova Viktor Vasilievich Korsakov this year celebrated his 60th anniversary - an anniversary and dedicated to his personal exhibition.

The exposition of this exhibition could previously be seen in Ryazan, where Viktor Korsakov lives and works, deservedly one of the leading masters of painting in the Ryazan Territory. Among the works presented at the exhibition, canvases dedicated to their native land predominate.

The name of the exhibition completely determines its theme. Among the paintings included in the exposition, landscapes associated with the artist’s native places include a house in the Ryazan region where his grandfather and grandmother lived, landscapes of the surroundings, portraits of fellow villagers. Even the everyday scenes depicted on his canvases are connected with the village, where he often visited his old relatives.

One more part of Viktor Korsakov’s work was his canvases painted under the influence of trips to old Russian cities. He constantly participated not only in Russian, but also in international open airs. Full-scale sketches, sketches made in open airs served as the basis for the large canvases created by the artist, helped him improve his skills.

Solo exhibitions of Viktor Korsakov are always of interest to connoisseurs of painting. With a constant theme of creativity, the artist constantly surprises the audience with new touches of his pictorial art. Viktor Korsakov is not only a talented artist, he also has excellent pedagogical skills, having worked for thirty years as a teacher at the Ryazan art school.
