Presentation of the new project "Stage Academy" will be held in Yekaterinburg

YEKATERINBURG. On October 22, the Sverdlovsk Drama Theater will host a presentation of a new theatrical project called the "Drama Academy". This project will introduce residents of the city who are not indifferent to theatrical art, with well-known stage figures. It is assumed that not only Russian masters, but also world celebrities will take part in the project.

The Drama Academy is designed for spectators who come to the theater not only for entertainment. Meetings in the framework of the new theater project will be intended for anyone who wants to learn as much as possible about the work of actors. Spectators who can see behind the vivid spectacle presented on the stage, the tremendous work of actors and directors who created a colorful performance, can also be called professionals.

The Drama Academy is primarily intended for them, but there is a place for those who vaguely imagine what the backstage of the theater looks like, how difficult it is to create a performance that attracts the attention of the public. Communication with personalities most significant in the theater space should enable viewers to join their world, thereby expanding the perception of the language of the theater.

The first Yekaterinburg audience on the Small Stage of the drama theater will see their fellow countryman, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Gleb Panfilov. Amateur films shot by a graduate of the Ural Polytechnic University paved his way to local television, and then he studied at VGIK. At the end of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography, Gleb Anatolyevich received two diplomas at once - an operator and a director.

His work in films has earned many prestigious awards, including at international film festivals. The theater career of the director is no less successful. His work on the stage of the legendary Lenkom still gathers full halls of spectators.
