In St. Petersburg, an exhibition of works by famous people has opened for citizens for one week

On March 17, at 16-00, the Mokhovaya-18 Gallery hosted the grand opening of an exhibition of paintings created as part of the “Drawing with Famous People” charity project and united by a single theme, “Beloved Petersburg”, with the participation of journalists and famous people who took part in project.

The event was attended by Svetlana Plaschevskaya, Andrey Erokhin, Nelli Popova, Sofia Chich, Alexander Nikolaenko, Natalya Kovaleva, Svetlana Lyamina, Kirsanova - Miropolskaya Olga, Antonello Ferri, Kirill Ovchinnikov.

At the grand opening, the art critic of the Mokhovaya-18 Gallery Solnushkina Sofya and the organizers of the charity project spoke about their attitude to charity, about who and for what purpose the money raised through this charity project will go. Famous people who took part in the event and presented their paintings to the project told why such initiatives were needed and how easily they managed to enter the role of artists and create their own drawings. To the applause of those present, the organizers of the charity project, the Italian singer Antonello Ferri, the curator of the Mokhovaya-18 gallery, cut the red ribbon, thereby opening a charity exhibition.

Visitors to the exhibition can not only see the works of famous people, but also provide all possible assistance to children in need of support.

From March 17 to March 24, Petersburgers and guests of the city will be able to visit the exhibition, see the works of famous people, but also provide all possible assistance to children in need of support.

The organizers have collected more than 40 paintings; all paintings will be sold at a charity auction on March 25 at the Astoria Hotel, all proceeds from which will go to charity - helping children in need of material support.

Among those who have already painted and donated them are Russian People’s Artist Ivan Krasko, Honored Artist of Russia, Boris Smolkin, Olympic Champion Elena Berezhnaya, Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy and Interaction with Public Organizations A.N.Parkhomenko, well-known radio host Alisa Cher, Consul General of India in St. Petersburg Vishvas Sapkal, Attache for Culture at the Consulate General of Italy in St. Petersburg Francesco Bigazzi, Director of the Italian Institute of Culture Redenta Muffetton, artists of the theater and cinema and Olga Kirsanova-Miropolskaya and Nelly Popova and many others.

The charitable project “Drawing with famous people” is supported by the Committee on Social Policy of St. Petersburg and the Committee on Youth Policy and Interaction with Public Organizations.
