Exhibition dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the artist Moses Feigin, opened in the gallery ARTSTORY

MOSCOW. The metropolitan gallery ARTSTORY, introducing its visitors to the most prominent representatives of contemporary art, celebrated the anniversary of an outstanding master who, with his work, connected the revolutionary innovators who worked in the early twentieth century with contemporary art. In honor of the 110th anniversary of Moses Feigin, an outstanding Russian artist, on December 18, an exhibition was opened in the gallery, representing a retrospective of the master’s works - “Moses Feigin. Frantic Orpheus. "

Visitors are invited to get acquainted with the artist’s paintings, including avant-garde works created at the beginning of his creative life, paintings painted in the Soviet era, when Feigin did not have the opportunity to show them to the general public. Recognition and fame came to the artist in the nineties, when several personal exhibitions were organized in prestigious exhibition spaces.

The works created in these years are also on display. In addition to the finished paintings, the organizers of the exhibition supplemented it with sketches and drawings provided by the artist’s family and private collectors. The creators of the exhibition project were tasked to show the creative path of Moses Feigin with maximum details.

This plan is perfectly executed - the exhibition contains both the artist’s earliest works and large-scale paintings of historical significance. Next to many of the completed works are placed sketches and sketches made by the artist during the work on them.

The public will see some of the works of Moses Feigin for the first time, and next to works unknown to this day, iconic canvases are presented, where the favorite characters of the artist - Chaplin, Don Quixote, Orpheus, look at the audience.
