CHIT. In the museum of local lore them. Kuznetsova on January 20 begins the work of the exhibition "Romantic montage." The works presented at the exhibition were delivered to Chita from the Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve and belong to its funds. This exhibition was made possible thanks to the systematic work carried out by the Ministry of Culture of Transbaikalia.

With the help of ministry employees, the number of exhibition projects is constantly increasing and the number of exhibitions taking place as part of their exchanges between museums is increasing. One of the results of this work was the arrival in the Trans-Baikal Territory of works from the Abramtsevo Museum. Negotiations on holding this exhibition were started back in 2013, however, the “Romantic Landscape” arrived in Chita only in January 2015.

Previously, the exhibition was presented in Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok and Khabarovsk. Holding exhibitions of this level costs substantial amounts of about 4 million rubles. Therefore, part of the funding falls on the federal budget. This usually amounts to 70% of the cost of the exhibition.

In total, the exhibition collected 80 works of art belonging to artists who were members of well-known art associations that existed in the 20-30s. It was then that the works that were included in the exhibition were created. Its creators have combined in the exhibition space the work of artists who became objects of public attention in those years.

This exhibition contains works that combine realism and a romantic beginning - the main topics in the art of those years. Therefore, the exhibition was named - “Romantic montage”. The exposition is supplemented by archival materials telling about the life of Abramtsevo artists.
