An anniversary exhibition of the Kuban artist Olga Salkova opened in Krasnodar

KRASNODAR. “It’s the same brush…” - Kuban artist Olga Salkova celebrated her eightieth birthday with a personal exhibition that opened on September 8 in the Krasnodar exhibition hall. The exhibition poster says that Olga Alexandrovna devoted 60 years to her work. Over the years, she not only created a substantial number of wonderful portraits and landscapes, but also worked as a teacher of painting.

Many of Olga Alexandrovna’s students became brilliant masters of the brush. At the opening of the exhibition, the artist came to congratulate not only her colleagues, many who studied her art of painting, but the heroes of her portraits. Even in the portrait genre, one can note her romantic attitude. She was always attracted by the images of extraordinary people, exalted. In each portrait created by Olga Salkova, the artist reveals the best qualities of her characters.

She also considers landscapes and still lifes her favorite genres. In the landscapes painted by Olga Alexandrovna, she conveys her admiration for the seen beauty of nature. In still lifes you can see her favorite flowers - bouquets of peonies, irises.
