New items in the "Special Pantry" will be presented at the Sculpture Gallery of the Irkutsk Art Museum on November 4

New works of jewelers and stone-cutters will replenish the exposition of the “Special Pantry” in the Sculpture Gallery of the Irkutsk Art Museum. The presentation of new products will be held on November 4, 2016 as part of the “Night of the Arts”.

Visitors will be presented with several works created in 2016. Some of them have already visited Moscow at the All-Russian competition of jewelry art, which is organized by the Gokhran of Russia with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Among them is the "Enchantress" of Natalia Bakut. The sculpture of a girl with a ball in her hands is made of opal-like quartz of smoky color, brought from Madagascar.

Crystal has become the material for the creation of another work, a whole creative team worked on its implementation. "Bull" is exhibited for the first time. Through this image, as conceived by the masters, the energy of Buryat shamanism is transmitted. When creating other works, black and white jade, kahalong, carnelian and jasper were used.
