Exhibition "Lively Art. Living Life" - a collection of Mikhail Kurkchi in the exhibition hall of the Krasnodar Territory

KRASNODAR. On December 7, an exhibition was opened in the regional exhibition hall, representing paintings from the collection owned by Krasnodar businessman and collector Mikhail Vladimirovich Kurkchi. Visiting the exhibition “Lively art. Life is Live ”, connoisseurs of pictorial art will be able to get acquainted with the wonderful works of artists made in the 20th and 21st centuries.

More than 200 works authored by Russian and foreign masters of painting, Mikhail Vladimirovich collected about two decades. Acquaintance with their work gives visitors an opportunity to see the variety of techniques and creative manners of the authors presented in the collection of Mikhail Kurkchi.

No less interesting for guests of the exhibition is the opportunity to appreciate the work of the collector himself. To the exhibition “Lively art. Life is alive ”and the author’s works of Mikhail Vladimirovich also entered. He learned the basics of painting in the art studio of the Palace of Pioneers of Kislovodsk, the hometown of an outstanding creative person.

By education, he is a philologist who graduated from Kuban University. He worked as a professional military translator, deputy school director. Mikhail Kurkchi is known as the author-performer of bard songs. The neg published two poetry collections: in 2006, Letters of Leaf Fall, and in 2011, Minkina Garland.

The opening exhibition is dedicated to the release of another author’s book and its anniversary. This is a catalog book, called “Lively Art. Living Life ”is at the same time a description of the collection collected by Mikhail Kurkchi and a collection of his aphorisms. The funds received for visiting the exhibition, open until December 22, will be sent to targeted assistance to people in dire need of it, to purchase modern strollers for children with disabilities.
