In Kaluga, a personal exhibition of the artist Evgeny Pukhov

KALUGA. About 80 works of various genres were placed by the artist Evgeny Pukhov at his personal exhibition, which opened in Kaluga on April 6. The exposition is in the gallery of the House of Music. The main theme of the works presented to the public was Kaluga land.

In many paintings painted during various periods of the artist’s work, one can see city landscapes of the old part of Kaluga. However, the artist selected landscapes painted by the sea for a personal exhibition. Even the sea sunsets written by Evgeny Pukhov, like most of his works, are distinguished by an abundance of sunlight.

The exhibition has a lot of paintings with views of St. Petersburg, with its special color always attracting artists. Evgeny Viktorovich was no exception. He always notes the uniqueness of the Northern capital, a city that has no analogues in other countries. The artist notes that each visit to St. Petersburg brings him inspirational inspiration.

Among the portraits on display, there is a picture depicting the main person in the life of Yevgeny Pukhov - his father, poet Viktor Pukhov. This name became the personification of a whole era in the literary life of Kaluga. Thanks to his excellent knowledge of history, the poet managed to convey to his son love for the Kaluga region.

The profession of the artist Evgeny Pukhov received in the capital. The first stage of training was the school of memory of 1905, and then the young artist was a student of the art and graphic faculty of MPI. Already at the beginning of his career, Evgeny Pukhov actively participated in various exhibitions - from regional shows to international ones.

Today, the works of a member of the Union of Artists are presented in many foreign galleries; both Russian and foreign collectors are eager to acquire his work.
