President of the Russian Academy of Arts Z.K.Tsereteli took part in the opening of the II International Children’s Cultural Forum in Moscow Automatic translate

From August 10 to 12, 2023, the II International Children’s Cultural Forum, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, is being held in the New Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. It has become a traditional annual event and is aimed at supporting creatively gifted children. The participants of the Forum were children aged 12 to 17 years old, who are winners and prize-winners of various creative competitions, festivals and exhibitions.

The day before, the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Borisovna Lyubimova spoke about the program of events, the geography of participants and special formats of the DCF. A rich cultural program awaits the forum participants: excursions to the Pushkin Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Music, the Great Moscow Circus, VGIK, Zaryadye, VDNKh and Mosfilm. “These are iconic cultural spaces that everyone wants to visit,” the head of the Ministry of Culture pointed out.

The solemn opening ceremony of the II International Children’s Cultural Forum and the exhibition "The Image of Teachers and Mentors in the Works of Young Artists" was visited by People’s Artist of the USSR and the Russian Federation, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Konstantinovich Tsereteli, Vice-Presidents of the Russian Academy of Arts Anatoly Aleksandrovich Lyubavin and Andrey Nikolayevich Kovalchuk.
