The painting “The Adoration of the Magi”, painted at the Rubensau atelier in 1620, is part of the exhibition’s exposition, which opened on September 17 at the Hermitage Museum in Amsterdam. 75 masterpieces of the Flemish masters of the Antwerp school - mainly Peter Paul Rubens, Anthony Van Dyck and Jacob Jordens are presented for this exhibition by the Russian Hermitage from St. Petersburg. The photo was taken during the preparation of the exhibition “Pompei, un Art de Vivre” (Pompeii, Lifestyle), which opens at the Mayol Museum in Paris on September 21 and runs until February 12, 2012. The exhibition will feature original everyday items from Pompeii houses and gardens.
