Famous musician will release a book about a young bank robber

Bruce Springsteen, an American rock musician, soon plans to release a children’s book based on his song Outlaw Pete, recorded in 2009. The story, written in the Western genre, like Springsteen’s song, tells about a young boy who took the dangerous path and went into bank robberies. The author has already prepared the text of the work and submitted it to the publishing agency "Simon & Schuster". The book promises to be quite colorful, as it will contain many pictures that have been worked on by the famous cartoonist and illustrator Frank Caruso.

Simon & Schuster called this work “an illustrated book for adults that can be read by children.” “Obviously, the Outlaw Pete song is intended for adults and is designed for adult perception. The hero commits crimes at a young age and regrets it very much, but nothing can be done, ”said Jonathan Karp, president of the publishing house, in a press release. The aim of the author was the idea to convey to young readers that any action necessarily has its consequences and, when doing bad deeds, it is always worth remembering that any evil will necessarily return as a boomerang at the very moment when you least expect it. The story will appear on the shelves of bookstores on November 4, 2014.

American musician Bruce Spingstin is the recipient of the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award, which he received for musical compositions written for the films Wrestler and Philadelphia. During his musical career, the author has released 18 albums, 8 of which, according to Rolling Stone magazine, were included in the 500 greatest albums of all time.
