The book "London by Johnson", written by the mayor of London, was published

Boris Johnson, the mayor of London, wrote a book about the people who influenced the creation of the city. The work "London by Johnson" was released in September 2014 by the publishing house "Hummingbird".

In his book, Johnson talks about different periods in the history of London - from ancient times to the present. It is noteworthy that the narration is conducted on behalf of those people who, one way or another, were involved in the development of the city. So, in the book, the history of London is presented on behalf of such legendary personalities as William Shakespeare, William the Conqueror, John Wilkes, Alfred the Great, Lionel Rostild, Samuel Johnson, Winston Churchill, William Turner and others.

Residents of the capital of England have contributed to the development of all spheres of human activity, be it medicine, painting, music, literature, science and finance, architecture or engineering. Many generations of Londoners participated in the creation of this beautiful city, some of them were talented people and managed to become famous for centuries, others remained unknown. However, they were all and were able to invest their abilities and talent in this city, they did everything so that today London becomes a kind of "global brand" that attracts people from all over the world.
