SURGUT. Taxi service Non-Stop, together with the federal chain of bookstores Chitai-Gorod, created the so-called Literary Auto, which will soon begin to run through the streets of Surgut. Passengers of such a car, if desired, during the trip will be able to read good books.

On the streets of the city, such a taxi will run from November 10 to December 31, 2014. According to the organizers, any client of the Non-Stop order service will be able to call a literary car. In a taxi, passengers will be offered a choice of four genres of books: science fiction, adventure, biographies of famous people and novels from the assortment of Chita-Gorod stores. The organizers also added that this program will not affect the change in the route of the route and the speed of delivery of the passenger.

In fact, the idea of creating “libraries on wheels” is not new. Similar projects have already been implemented in a number of Russian cities. So already in 12 regions of the country bibliomobiles are successfully working, and themed cars “Reading Moscow” appeared on the subway, on the walls of which quotes from different works are written. The goal of such programs is the same - to revive interest in reading and traditional books. “It is no secret that today people are more willing to spend time communicating on social networks than on fiction. If earlier most people in public transport spent time reading books, now passengers are flipping through gadgets. “Literary car” is an experiment designed to remind citizens what to read is exciting, ”said the organizers of the project in Surgut.
