Izhevsk. From September 8 to September 13, the second city book festival “Read, Izhevsk!” Takes place in the city. During the days of the book festival, the organizers plan to hold more than 200 events designed for every taste and age.

These days, the Read, Izhevsk! Festival has turned the city into an incredibly reading capital, where almost all its inhabitants read literally on every corner. Of course, all the main events are held in youth clubs and municipal libraries. However, guests also visit the Bukinist shop, the Izhevsk city museum and the Chashka literary cafe, which also hosts various entertainment events.

According to the organizers of the book festival “Read, Izhevsk!” The program of the event is very diverse, saturated and divided into several days. And if at the start of the festival it seemed to the townspeople that some of the events were a little boring, then it became much more interesting, since an exhibition of valuable rare books was opened, open film screenings were organized and a literary cycle quest had already been carried out, and it was also planned to start the action “Book for a writer from readers "And" Reading the trolley.
